Colby and his eight littermates were born December 18th, and this little fella is waiting for a forever family of his own.

Colby has blossomed into a very sweet boy. He is playful and energetic, but he loves to be snuggled and cuddle up with his people too. He has been working very hard on potty training, and he doesn’t mind being confined with a soft blanket for his afternoon naps and bedtime at night.  Colby loves to chase after a ball (or anything else you throw), and in recent days has actually been returning the ball to his foster mom (4 out of 10 times is pretty good for a puppy!J). Colby is happy to run around the border of his yard and use his outside voice to let his foster mom know if something/someone is nearby, but he is not randomly loud and vocal. He has learned a few commands (come…crate…outside) and is on his way with learning a few more (leave it…wait…stay). There is no doubt Colby is a smart boy who could master any instructions given with time and patience. Colby is approximately 25 pounds with a shiny smooth black and white coat and a touch of pink on his nose. He has been around numerous dogs of varying size and temperament in his foster home, as well as kitty cats, and he gets along nicely with everyone. Could you be the forever family this happy, healthy boy deserves? Colby is being fostered in the St. Louis area and would love to meet you!
