A veterinarian evaluates all dogs taken in by Mo-Kan Border Collie Rescue . All required shots are administered; checked for intestinal parasites; heart worms and they are spayed/neutered.

Carter is a very handsome boy with lovely black, white & brown markings. His face is hard to say ‘no’ to and he uses his cuteness non-stop. He is a solid boy who loves to wrestle with his siblings, and he also loves to snuggle down into soft blankets. He is a leader in the pack and is always one of the first to let his foster mom know when she didn’t quite close the door on the pen well enough. Carter has a wide white neck, with black on his bottom, and he has beautiful black & brown circles around his eyes.

Mom, Keira, is a smooth coat border collie. She was surrendered to a shelter, pregnant, because the family didn’t want her anymore. Three weeks after coming into our rescue she gave birth to 9 healthy puppies: Beth, Jimmy, Lloyd, Rip, Carter, Colby, Avery, Teeter and Mo.

Carter is being fostered in the St, Louis, MO area.
