Woody is a gorgeous red and white, 21 month old BC/Aussie. His previous elderly owners got him @ 10 weeks, and housed him outside on their farm. They felt he was too much for them and came to MoKan.

Woody LOVES everyone and is such a happy boy! He has high energy level, and a very lovable, cuddly boy that will sneak into your lap or sit on your feet, literally! He just wants to be with his people. He initially dug out of the back yard, only to join his foster mom in the front yard raking leaves. He promptly ran to her and sat on her feet! He has worked his way into sleeping with his foster mom, waking her in the morning with a lick and full body hug.

He is reportedly great with kids with previous owner.

This boy is adapting to city, and life in a house. He has picked up on house training, asks to go outside and comes when called in. He does wear a belly band overnight and when foster mom is gone, usually dry.

He does not care for the crate but will eat there with door open. He is happy in the house with his foster sisters when mom is gone, enjoys a stuffed kong to keep him from chewing other tempting objects. He loves to be brushed and allows handling all over his body.

Woody loves other dogs, playing chase games with his foster sisters.

He would enjoy having another playful dog that could help show him the ropes of city life. He will chase a tennis ball longer than you can throw it! Frisbee is on our list to try. He knows “sit, down, shake, and come.” With his focus and energy he would be a candidate for any dog sport. He does walk ok on a leash but will try to dash after squirrels.

He is living with a very dog savvy cat, but becomes very fixated on her, difficult to break the concentration. He doesn't hunt the cat but very focused when in the same room. Foster mom has used a squirt of water to break the focus.

Woody would enjoy an active home where he will be exercised regularly, be inside close to his people, and be a part of a loving family. He will do best in an experienced, dog savvy home.
