Meet Agape! She is a 15-week-old border collie cattle dog mix, and a complete sweetheart! She lived in an outdoor pen the first part of her life but has very quickly adjusted to living indoors with other dogs and people. She is a very bouncy puppy and has quite the hops! She is extremely cuddly and would love to sleep with her person at night. She was probably the easiest puppy to begin potty training thus far and with proper consistency should have no problem transitioning to a new yard! She will need an owner committed to continued crate training as she does show stress while crating (vocalization, digging, destruction, bar biting.) Therefore, she cannot have anything in her crate that can be destroyed/pulled in. She is pretty mellow loose in the home but like most puppies, does need to be watched as she will chew on things not ideal, such as shoes, dog beds, blankets, rugs. So far, Agape is dog neutral/disinterested but very social and sweet with people. Like all puppies, she will need continued socialization and exposure as she ages. She has done well coexisting with her 2 foster dog siblings and really enjoys hiking and running around outside. She shows interest in fetch so may be able to do amateur disc or other dog sports. She has moderate food interest (likes cheese & peanut butter) and scatter feeds kibble well with two other dogs. She is more interested in praise and attention/play from her person, though! Agape has had her age-appropriate shots, is microchipped and on monthly heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Agape is being fostered in the Manhattan, KS area.
