Animal Success Stories

Success Stories

We are very pleased to share the story of our dog’s forever home and to know that we helped guide these dogs into a bright future. Each and every creature deserves to be appreciated and loved. That is what rescue work is all about.

We LOVE photos of how our Mo-Kan Alumni are doing!  Please send us photos and a short update on how you are all doing!
Please include when adopted and if they were listed under a former name.

Jagger

Jagger - now Jasper (adopted 6/2020)

Jasper, formerly Jagger, is such a great companion. He got to meet all of my grandchildren, and they LOVED each other. Their favorite activity was playing soccer with him, and they all cheered when they could get a ball past him, which didn’t happen often. Thank you, Mo-KAN, for pairing me up with such a great dog! I love him!

Missy (Mistletoe)

Mistletoe (Now Daisy, adopted 01/2019)

Mistletoe from the Miracle puppies (now Daisy) loves to snuggle!! So blessed to have her in my life! Thank you so much!!

Cassie

Rohan (Formerly "Cassie" adopted 2/2019)

Used as a breeding dog and the owner was done breeding and wanted to be rid of the females. MoKan took her in and Nicki  introduced her to me at the clinic where I work at. It was instant love and now she is living the best life with her special little brother and her favorite kid. She is seriously the best dog and everyone who has ever met her loves her to death.

Cooper (2019)

Cooper (adopted 3/2019)
We picked Cooper up in MO from foster on 3/5/19 and we kept his name.  Cooper has blended in beautifully with our family and has a Texas sized heart of gold and so much love to give. He is a protector to his 3 week older Border Collie sister, loves all things play and is a tail wagging, super hugger to all the people he meets along the way. He is perfectly content with some simple enrichment games or curled up on the couch or at your feet. We are truly blessed.

Havoc

Havoc (adopted 6/2017)

We both, separately, saw his picture on the website and knew he was the dog for us. Havoc is a tripod with lots of energy and love to spare!
