Frankie and another dog were displaced after their owner died, and spouse moved for additional medical care. Mokan stepped in to help.

Frankie is a Border Collie delight! She is a beautiful, traditional black and white, 50 lb. 4 years old, with a medium long, silky coat. She is playful and friendly with her foster siblings She loves all people she has met. She is learning to sit nicely for greetings, that jumping is not such good behavior.

Frankie has shown some herding instincts so will need a fenced yard to keep her safe and out of mischief. She knows sit, down, and working on recall. She enjoys training and is VERY smart, and up for any, and all adventures. She LOVES her people, eager to please, and doesn’t venture far from her foster mom and dad. She loves all attention, belly rugs, hugs and cuddles. Frankie walks well on a leash and loves car rides. This far, she hasn’t had much interest in toys of any kind.

She loves to travel in a vehicle and is well mannered.

Frankie loves her food, needs to be fed in her kennel to know her food is safe. She would be fine as a solo dog, or an addition to a family with a dog.

Unknown on cats, small children. Spayed, is up to date on all vaccines, chipped, on heartworm, flea and tick preventatives.
