Chance and his sister Faith came to Mokan rescue through very unfortunate circumstances, both having endured utter cruelty in their short lives. But thankfully upon his arrival under proper care and love this little guy has absolutely blossomed and holds no grudges for any of it. He wakes up every morning ready to have the best day of his life and his constant happy wiggles rival those of his fellow Aussie brethren. Chance is a herding mix. Chance is curious, playful, snuggly, loyal, intelligent, goofy, fearless, and has proven himself a great listener and to be trainable. His foster family is grateful that he quickly learned the difference between his toys vs. tennis shoes, and he sleeps soundly in his kennel every night. While his bladder can’t yet make it 8+ hours overnight he is fully house trained when left free to roam the house, it has been several weeks since an accident. And did we say snuggly? This snuggle monster just can’t resist being under a big fluffy blanket with mom when he’s feeling sleepy. He also loves tagging along for pup cups at the local coffee shop and excitedly jumps into an open car door to go for a ride. Basically anywhere his human is, you can bet he’s right on your heels, a true velcro companion. He also raises the stranger danger alarm for you, nobody is sneaking in the house on his watch! Chance’s new family ideally has a playful and patient companion for him, as he is still a puppy he is still learning that his friends are not chew toys. They should also be willing to continue developing his commands and socializing him with new friends and animals. While he has picked up several commands with his foster family there are several more still to learn. Need a gardening buddy to sunbathe next to you? Need a snuggle buddy? Need an adventure buddy? Does your dog need a little brother to play tug with? Chance is your man. Chance is being fostered in the Bentonville, AR area and is up to date on his vaccinations and neutered.
