A Star is born! At least that’s what my Foster mom says about me. I am a 2½ year old Border Collie. I have the keen intelligence and silky black coat making me a gorgeous student. I can show love and acceptance for anything with two legs or four legs. I am great with all ages of children, other dogs and even chickens.

Playing ball and visits to the dog park chill me out enough that afterwards I like to lay with my head in a lap watching TV.

I love car rides, running at top speed with dog friends, and perfecting my Frisbee skills. I could easily see my future in Pet Therapy or as an athlete in sports.  Hearing the word kennel lets me know it is bedtime and I have no complaints.

Basic commands were easy to learn such as sit, stay, and down. I will come running when I hear my name. In fact, I will come even when you call my house buddies because I sure don’t want to miss a pat or treat. Enthusiasm for a good walk does, however, call for a harness and practice not to pull. I am working on Agility skills and a few performance tricks up my leg (sleeve).
