Goose is a beautiful 6 yr old Border Collie, B/W with a handsome freckled face and feet. He is 45 lbs.

Goose previously lived in a home with kids, and cats. His family took him to the vet to be euthanized because they didn’t have time for him any longer. Thankfully he was neutered, vetted and brought into rescue, and a foster home.

Goose is a medium energy, playful boy that LOVES to play fetch! The ball is his favorite, but really any toy will do. He plays nicely, bringing the ball/toy back and drops it at your feet. If you don’t understand the game to throw the ball, he will pick it up and gently toss it again, and again….until you throw it!

Goose has been respectful of his older foster sister who prefers not to play. He is good with other dogs, enjoys small group play where he has “get to know you” time, over a dog park setting, with too much chaos.

Goose is friendly with everyone he meets. He loves play time in the yard, and is learning that walks with his human is great fun! He would love to hike, as he loves to check out all the smells along the way. He rides great in the car, really up for any adventure with his family.

Goose is a fun boy, knows basic commands, sit, down, kennel. He is very treat motivated, and ready to learn so much more. He has a great off switch, will cuddle at your feet, or on the couch watching a movie, just so long he is with you.
