Fly is a 10 month old female Border Collie mix who is looking for someone to share a life full of fun with. She is smart, affectionate, and goofy. She loves snuggles and giving kisses. She is eager to please and ready for anything. She came into rescue as a stray and has responded wonderfully to living in a house and is now ready for her forever home.

Fly is good with children 8+ and loves when company comes over for a visit. She is friendly with everyone she meets and is currently learning how to greet people appropriately (aka not jumping on them and giving them lots of kisses).

She is recently housebroken and crate trained. She is quiet in the crate where she sleeps overnight and stays when she is left unsupervised in the house. She gets along well with other dogs but is untested with cats. She is still working on leash manners but is doing great with her training.

Fly loves to play with toys, she is learning to fetch and loves to play tug of war. While she likes to play with people she also will play with her chew toys and amuse herself. She is a fast learner and is food motivated. With the right training she could excel in a sport like obedience or agility but she would be happy with the job of being your best pal. In the evening she likes to lay on the couch and watch TV with the family (especially if someone is petting her and letting her lay in their lap).

Fly would do best in a house with a yard because she enjoys running around in the grass and throwing her toys around outside. She loves hanging out in the yard while her foster family does yard work or plays soccer. Fly would make an excellent family dog especially for a family who likes a dog who is very interactive and wants to be part of the action.
