Nova is a gorgeous 22 month old curly coat tri colored Border Collie. Nova was an owner surrender because of her high energy and some life changes in her family.

Nova is such a sweet girl that loves to be as close with her people as possible. Her favorite things are cuddling, playing, and showing off how smart she is. Nova is high energy and will need exercise to keep her active and happy in her new home. As much as she loves to play, she enjoys cuddling on the couch and watching a good movie!

Nova is great with other dogs, cats, and children. She was very gentle and played nicely with some puppies in her foster home, she would also be fine as the only dog. Nova is interested in chasing wildlife, and shows interest in moving cars, so will need a fence to be sure she is safe.

Nova loves playing with toys, and especially loves her puzzles with hidden treats. She will play fetch as long as you are willing to throw the toy or ball. She is crate trained, although it isn’t her favorite place to be, especially if she hasn’t had enough exercise. She is house broken. She is extremely food motivated, and eager to learn. She knows sit, stay and come, and the potential for so much more! She does walk well on a leash, and loves walks.

Nova is ready to start her new life with her person, family that are ready to give her an active lifestyle, hiking, camping, perhaps a dog sport. She has such a sweet, loving nature, and will be a forever loving addition to her new home
