Hi, my name is Walton! I am beautiful tri colored, 6 mo old BC mix, found abandoned in Walmart parking lot. A good samaritan got me to safety with Mo-Kan, and into a wonderful foster home.

My foster mom says I am SO handsome, and helping me learn that the world is a nice, kind, wonderful place, and not so scary. Don’t let my cute expressive face fool you though, my mom says I have a BIG, ENERGETIC personality!

I am learning how to be a good boy, there are so many things to see and explore! I am VERY treat motivated, learning “ sit, down, bring it back, come, touch, and leave it”. Mom says I am doing great with those, being a puppy, I sometimes get distracted. I am also learning nice leash walking.

I LOVE to be outside and play fetch! My foster mom throws toys and balls, and rolls frisbees. I love to run, jump, and chase all toys, bring them back to do it again. I love to be active, run and play, and will make up my own fun if I don’t get enough exercise. I love toys and chews, and enjoy pulling the stuffing out of my toys!

I keep my crate and pen clean and let mom know when I need to go out. I will probably need a refresher in my new home. Sometimes I am so busy, I just forget to go outside.

I will probably do best with kids over 6 yrs, I get excited and sometimes jump up to get food or play. I do like to settle in for love, cuddles, belly rubs, and pets.

I will do best with a dog savvy, experienced home to help guide me and continue my training. I haven’t met cats, and don’t like larger dogs in my face. I would like a secure fence, I think I can climb a chain link, so wood is best. I can jump really high when I get excited, and bark.

Mom says I am a soft dog, loud noises, or voices make me pee submissively.
