Ruby and her mom Felicia lived their entire life with one family as outside dogs. A divorce, and unexpected death of the owner brought them to rescue

Ruby and Felicia have moved to the city life! Oh, what we have learned! Life has been getting used to hardwood floors, leaf blowers, lawn mowers, and people passing on the walking path just outside their yard. They do enjoy their time exploring the back yard!

They used to tip to through the grass, but now love to roll and “Happy Dance” in the yard. Being outdoor dogs most of their life, they have LOVED the transition of spending more time inside with their humans. Their kennel is their favorite spot at night and sometimes just hanging out inside. They are housebroken with no accidents; they love their time inside with their foster mom and dad!!

You can tell they were so loved by their previous family, they are so trusting and sweet in their new foster home. They have learned, “sit, down, shake”. They are starting to accept grooming and brushing for the first time, and like the pampering. With time and proper introductions, they are adapting to other dogs, slow introductions are still required. They love their walks, do well on leash and Ruby seems to love children. A home with older children would be best.

They are both fine with visitors in and outside the house. Ruby is the greeting committee and immediately loves everyone.
