Are you looking for the perfect dog?  Because Max has it all!  This sweet nine year old boy was surrendered when his family made the difficult decision that they couldn’t give him the life he deserved any longer. 

Max is crate trained, house trained, sleeps nicely in a dog bed all night, has great manners, rides well in a car, walks on a leash, was perfect for his vaccines and blood draw, gets along along with other dogs and all people, does not try to get on the furniture much and generally does not jump on people.  He knows sit, down, shake/high five, comes when called and kennels on request. 

Max does not hurt cats but is learning that they are not toys to bark at and chase.  Speaking of toys, Max LOVES them!  He always has a toy in his mouth and loves to squeak them.  His favorite activities are fetch and tug and he does know “drop it” but sometimes you have to ask more than once. 

Max has only been with us a short while and we are still learning about him but so far we can’t find anything that makes him less than the “Maximum” package.  Don’t let the nine years fool you, he is very energetic and will play from sun up to sun down!  Max had a complete blood panel run which was normal and a dental cleaning.  He is in great health and ready to be your new best friend.
