Max is not sure how he ended up in rescue - but he IS sure he’s ready to find a forever family to call his own! Max is a super well-mannered, sweet-tempered boy who loves snuggling on the couch, running around the backyard, and going for car rides.

At 3 years old, this Border Collie mix is completely housebroken and doesn’t have any of those yucky puppy traits like chewing up your favorite slippers or nibbling on your fingers. Max also knows how to sit and lay down on command, and his favorite thing to do at his foster mom’s house is to wrestle with the other dogs in the backyard or curl up in her lap while she works on her computer.

Max is on the smaller side at approximately 35lbs, which makes him the perfect size for snuggles! Max is a very excitable little guy and will always be thrilled to see you - whether you were gone for 10 seconds or a week! He does tend to get a little bit jumpy when he’s excited, but his foster mom said he’s working hard on that and making good progress. Max would prefer a home with a yard for him to run and chase a toy (or another dog) around in - and he would prefer a home without cats!  Max is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccinations.
