Rosemary is just over a year old and has already been very busy. Late January 21st she came into rescue and on the morning of January 24th she gave birth to 9 adorable puppies! She did a beautiful job raising all of them and now that all her puppies have left to their forever homes it is time for Rosemary to find hers.

Rosemary is a young, medium/high energy border collie. She is now spayed and up to date on her vaccines and preventative medications. She is relaxed in the home but when she is outside, she barely stops moving. She gets along well with other dogs and while she has met cats before she would need a very very slow introduction to them as she was quite curious about them.

Rosemary loves to cuddle, especially when her family is on the couch watching TV. If she’s not sitting on top of you she is TRYING to sit on top of you. She loves to be the center of attention. She plays with soft squeaky toys, and chew bones. She is learning frisbee from her foster brother but hasn’t quite picked up what to do with it once she has chased it down. She is crate trained and house trained.

She is still learning to walk well on a leash and will need training in this area. She is not reactive towards other people on walks but does seem to be dog reactive. She is still young so training in this area is a must.

Rosemary has been through a lot this last year. She will respond best to positive reinforcement training and gentle people who can provide her clear guidance.

Rosemary is being fostered in the St. Louis, MO area.
