Bob is a 2 year old small border collie mix w a great big personality.  At 28 #, Bob plays hard with the 50#  young aussie in his foster home and leaves the senior dog alone.  Bob has herding instincts and much prefers to be the chaser than the chase.    He does well at the dog park with all kinds of dogs. 

Bob has been introduced to a dog savvy 2 yo toddler and a 2 month old child and he did not jump up and only gave gentle licks.  He was not at all a nuisance around them.  

We don’t know much about Bob’s history, but from his inside behavior,  I believe he was someone’s pet who was good to him.  He is confident and not easily alarmed.  He is mostly housetrained and he sits for his food.  He walks decently on a leash (has been on 4 mile leash walks) and is not an escapee though he will need a fenced in yard. 

Bob is not an apartment dog.  He requires too much activity to be happy in that type of environment.  Bob loves toys, all kinds of toys including balls and chew toys.   He loves the outdoors but prefers to be inside if there is not another dog or human outside with him.  He is not overly fond of crating but settles down with a couple of firm “no” commands.  (that is after he has been fully exercised!)  

Bob is being fostered in the Kansas City area.
