Silas is a sweet little guy who will melt your heart with his seal pup eyes. Seriously, you just can’t say no to them.

Not much is known about his days prior to coming to Mokan but we do know that he probably wasn’t treated particularly well by his humans. He and several other dogs were left behind in a pen when his owner moved away. He’s incredibly skittish and shy and warming up to his surroundings will take time. Silas’s new family will need to be patient. Verrry patient.

This little guy will need exposure and socialization to remind him of human kindness, and extensive work on the basics like leash walking and standard commands. But all that to say, this is a HAPPY little dog. His tail is constantly wagging and he gets the most adorable case of zoomies when let out of his crate, especially first thing in the morning. Oh and he does a special happy dance when he’s extra excited!

He’s friendly and playful with other dogs, and is learning how fun toys can be. He also picks up routines quickly and loves the daily quick car adventure for a coffee run with mom. And while he’s hesitant to be picked up or get too close he still follows his human room to room and patiently stands watch outside the bathroom while you shower. Loyal little dog.

His new house will need a fenced yard to keep him safe and at least one furry sibling to help him learn how to ‘dog’. He’s on the small side at 30lbs but has some weight to gain. He’s up to date on his shots and neutered.
