Snuggle-champion Finn is looking for his forever home! Finn is an impossibly sweet, young male border collie, approximately 1 year old. He came to rescue by way of being a shelter stray so nothing is known about his former life other than what his foster mama has learned about him but one thing is very clear, this dog is awesome-sauce.

Finn's favorite things include: starting wrestling matches with his foster brother, being a sock-stealing ninja, snuggling on your chest, and supplying an endless source of silliness for foster mama to giggle at. He is playful, affectionate, inquisitive, trainable, moderately energetic, and friendly. He came into foster not being housebroken and not knowing a single command but his young boy has made serious strides in all categories. Still very much a puppy at heart, he's continually learning the differences between his toys and tennis shoes, so his new home will need to be patient as he continues to learn these manners. He cannot be left unsupervised until trusted to not mistake toys for something he shouldn't chew on.

To set Finn up for the best chance of success his new home must have familiarity with herding breeds and must commit to continuing his behavioral training and development. He's a smart boy, is treat and toy motivated, and possibly has agility potential as well. But he's still very much learning the basics like recall, not jumping up, personal space boundaries, crate training, etc. His new home should also have a fenced yard to keep him safe and an active family. He'd be fine in a home with kids but only with a family who can curb his tendency to nip extremities to get your attention...this will take familiarity with the breed and obedience training. Ideally his new home would also have a playful furry friend to wrestle with daily.

Finn is neutered and fully vaccinated, and is on the smaller side of the breed at 30lbs.

Finn is being fostered in the Bentonville, AR area.
