Autumn is an approximately 2 year old female, smooth coat, tri-color border collie.  Autumn was surrendered very pregnant and had a beautiful litter of puppies in her foster home.  The puppies have all gone on to their own homes where they are excelling in all kinds of sports!

Autumn is a wonderful girl! She's housebroken, crate trained and will even run to her crate and wait patiently for her food or treat to arrive.  She has been fostered with several other dogs and enjoys playing with those who enjoy play and will not bother those who don't.  She is good with cats and won't hurt them but does enjoy watching them.  

She rides well in the car, walks nicely on a leash and comes when called.  She can learn things quickly if you spend a little time with her!  She really enjoys chewing on rawhides, nylabones and stuffed Kong toys.  She likes to play with squeaky toys but hasn't learned to fetch yet.  She probably could but we just haven't had time to spend with her one on one.  

Autumn has attended two agility trials and loved meeting new people and was very well behaved.  She barked a few times when dogs came close to her crate but improved over the weekend and was totally fine outside her crate and watching all the other dogs in the ring. Autumn has good herding drive and if allowed access to livestock will obsess over watching them unless taught this is not acceptable behavior. This is really her only "flaw"!

Autumn loves to snuggle and would really love to be your best friend.  She is also quite the princess and loves sleeping on her soft bed or a big fluffy blanket. She could be a great jogging or hiking partner and possibly a sports dog.  Fence requirement negotiable for the right home.
