Kendall is just about as perfect as they come. He came to MO-Kan from a shelter after his stray hold time was up. We are guessing that he is around 8 years old. It is obvious that his previous owner loved him, as he has about 15 pounds to lose, with a goal weight of 45 pounds. He adores new people and greets politely, with all 4 feet on the ground. Kendall seems familiar with shopping carts and doesn't startle easily. He knows basic commands and walks well on a leash. He enjoys ear scritches, butt scritches, and snuggles. Kendall is kennel trained though he'd prefer to have the run of the house. He is pottytrained and will bark if he needs to go out. He has medium energy and exercise needs.

Kendall gets along well with most dogs and is only a bit reluctant to share affection. He is easygoing with dogs, but neither submissive or overly assertive to them. He loves to play ball and will give it the "Border Collie eye" until you toss it. He will even throw it to himself between volleys. Kendall is fine with cats. He is interested in chasing chickens.

He would be best with older children.

Kendall is being fostered in the St. Louis area.
