Charlie is a 2-year-old male border collie mix. Charlie loves everyone including children. He is very athletic, extremely fast, and highly toy driven. Charlie would be a good prospect for a performance home. He can escape a standard 4.5-foot chain link fence but has only done so to see another dog. We recommend a 6-foot fence. Charlie is crate trained and doing well with housetraining, he has an occasional accident. He has done well with cats and shows some interest in following them if they run. Dog savvy cats would likely be fine with Charlie. Charlie is great with other socially appropriate dogs. He can be loud and has a high-pitched bark. If his crate is covered, he is quiet. Charlie has a moderate energy level. Charlie is being fostered in the Wichita, KS area.
