There was a chance of rain, but it stayed away and we had a BEAUTIFUL day! Who would have guessed we needed sunscreen!
We had 106 people, 83 dogs and 57 families. The dogs had a blast swimming in the pond and running flat out over the pasture. There has to be alot of tired border collies out there. The Alumni dogs looked great in their yellow bandanas.
We had a Rally course and offered Canine Good Citizen (CGC) tests this year, both of which were very popular. We recognized Jennifer Fitzwater, co-founder and former president of MKBCR, for her contributions.
The Houghtons (Nellie-2004), Mainocks (Jock-2005), Tabakas (Filutek-2007 and Psotka-2008) all came over 500 miles each.
Longest ago adoption
in attendance were the Eckerts with Riley (April 2004).
The
most recent adoption in attendance were the Busters with Wyatt (July 2009)
and the Lanes with Cooper (April 2009).
We also had the Hollyfields with Tali (September 2009)--sorry we missed recognizing you!
