Paws N the Park at Shawnee Mission Park, June 19, 2010, was a chance to hand out information on volunteering, adoption and just showing people how much fun a Border Collie can have at a day at the park. 

 

 The most fun event for our Borders was when they tossed dozens of tennis balls into the lake and they got to retrieve so many balls all at once.  Ozzie, one our special foster pups, learned to swim with the big dogs and found out he loved being in the water. 

 

Bonnie, one of our adopted pets, got to go through her repertoire of tricks and show just how much you can do with a trained Border Collie.

 

There was even a Frisbee throwing contest.  Guess who came in first place?  Well, of course it was a Border Collie that was visiting the event.
